NEWS | IHOP to raise funds on behalf of Nationwide Children's Hospital

Nationwide Children's Hospital

Central Ohio IHOP franchises have begun the new year with a two month effort to raise funds on behalf of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital. Patrons of all eight IHOP locations can purchase the recognizable CMN balloon icon until the campaign culminates with National Pancake Day Tuesday, March 7.

Prior to and during National Pancake Day, with their purchase of the balloon icon, guests of the central Ohio IHOP locations – Chillicothe, Grove City, Heath, Lancaster, Renner Road (Hilliard), Reynoldsburg, Sawmill Road and Westerville – will have an opportunity to include their name on the CMN balloon icon, which will be displayed throughout the restaurants.

The signature event for all CMN hospitals and IHOP, National Pancake Day, will occur from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on March 7. During this time, customers can order a short stack of buttermilk pancakes at no cost. Each of the eight central Ohio IHOP locations will continue to accept voluntary donations during National Pancake Day as well.

Since beginning National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $17 million in support of a variety of charities in their local communities.
