MVNU's Sonfest 2017 lineup announced

SonFest, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s annual outdoor Christian music festival, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 1- 9 p.m. in The Grove at the MVNU campus. Plumb will headline the event with numerous other bands on two stages throughout the day.

The SonFest 2017 lineup will include:

* Plumb
* Anthem Lights
* JJ Weeks
* Jonny Diaz
* Sarah Reeves
* Bonray

Since the late 1990s, Plumb has sold more than 500,000 albums and over 2 million singles worldwide, co-penned songs for numerous other artists, including Michelle Branch, Mandisa, Jaci Velasquez, and Natalie Grant, and had music placed in many films and television shows.

Ticket prices include general admission in advance, $20; general admission at the gate, $25; and groups of 10+ in advance, $15.

Tickets can be purchased online by visiting iTickets.com and searching for “SonFest 2017.” Tickets are also available at local retailers listed at sonfest.mvnu.edu.

The all-day event will also include free outdoor activities, festival food, and giveaways. SonFest is held rain or shine. Artists and schedule are subject to change.
