Sports fans will soon have a new way to watch all things ESPN. On Thursday, Aug. 21, the network will launch its highly anticipated direct-to-consumer streaming service — alongside an upgraded ESPN App packed with new features.

The timing couldn’t be better. The rollout comes just as college football and NFL seasons kick off, with the US Open, international soccer, and women’s college sports in full swing. WNBA and PLL playoffs, plus NBA, NHL, UFC, and WWE action, are also on the horizon.

The new ESPN DTC service will offer two plans, including an unlimited option for $29.99/month, providing access to ESPN’s full lineup of channels — ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ESPN Deportes, plus ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, ESPN3, and more. That’s 47,000 live events a year, plus replays, studio shows, and original programming.

Fans can bundle the unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu for $29.99/month for the first year.

The enhanced ESPN App will bring more personalized viewing, multiview options, integrated stats, betting info, and a “SportsCenter For You” feed.
