SonFest, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s annual outdoor Christian music festival, welcomed thousands of fans to the Grove of the MVNU campus on Sept. 24. Gospel Music Association Dove Award Winner and Grammy Award nominated band Building 429 headlined the event, along with many other bands.

Our bands put on a phenomenal show and the environment was perfect for an amazing community-like experience,” said Rachel Kuhn, Assistant Director of Admissions at MVNU.

After DJ Jimmy Rock took the stage, other bands that performed on two stages included Finding Favour, Ever Burning Bright, Veridia, Trouper, Citizen Way, The Lasting Hope, Rapture Ruckus, Graceful Closure, For All Seasons, and Damac.
