Army staff sergeant Christopher Lehman did what every spouse has heard at least once: listened to his wife. Her advice? “You’re lucky — go play the lottery.” Boom. Same day, $1.3 million richer. We’d like to formally request this woman predict our fantasy football picks.

Lehman, a 25-year military veteran, had just moved to Pennsylvania from New Hampshire and decided to try his luck with the Pennsylvania Lottery’s online game Jackpot Spectacular — and it lived up to the name.

He budgeted $100, won $1.3 million, and has officially made every budgeting class look like a scam.

He plans to pay off the house, buy a truck, and “be adults,” which is code for “no, we’re not buying a jet ski named Freedom, stop asking.”

So remember, if your spouse says you’re lucky, play the lottery. Or at least pretend you did and buy a pizza.
