Well, Keenan Allen just stiff-armed the entire city of Pittsburgh — and he didn’t even need pads. When asked if he’d be interested in teaming up with Aaron Rodgers on the Steelers, Allen basically said, “Rodgers, yes. Pittsburgh? LOL, no.” Talk about a pump-fake to the Steel City. Fans were already Photoshopping him into a black and gold jersey, and now they’ve got to delete faster than a bad tweet. Sure, the Steelers offense has been shakier than a squirrel on a caffeine binge, but come on, Keenan — we’ve got pierogis, passion, and at least three quarterbacks at all times. Maybe Allen’s just waiting for the Bengals to ghost him first. Until then, Steelers fans can only dream… and keep refreshing free agency trackers like it’s fantasy football draft day.
